Reconnecting with Brian Paquette – part 2

Posted on Wed, 20 May 2015 by KiM

Here is another recent project by Brian Paquette that I am loving. It has the same sort of dark, masculine vibe as the one featured earlier today but the walls are pretty much all white. It keeps the spaces brighter but the dark furnishings are now really accentuated against the white.

Lea says:

Love the coffee table in the first photo – gorgeous. But I think he should lose the top rug, just looks messy in an otherwise perfect room.

taryn says:

I respectfully disagree with above post…I just saved the photo as inspiration on how to layer rugs without it looking to boho, patchwork, or disorganized! It seems akin to a well dressed person consciously mixing patterns – when everything is well tailored and chosen, it is so much more interesting than their peers that plat it safe. (It does bother me that it is rumpled when everything else seems neatly staged.)
