Revisiting Erin Swift

Posted on Tue, 19 May 2015 by KiM

It has been a long time since I featured the styling prowess of Erin Swift, and it seems her work just keeps getting better and better. My desire to now rework every corner of my house is a sure sign that this stylist’s portfolio is extraordinary. It just gives you that itch. You know, THAT ONE. 🙂

Kitchen love

Simply slick. Slickly simple. A cool, white, minimalist kitchen in an historic shell by London-based Macdonald Wright Architects.

Bold Brazil

A Brazil! Bold and beautiful. Love this São Paulo apartment by Diego Revollo Arquitetura. A monochromatic palette revved up with rich hues and slick surfaces. Oh so cool and definitely hot. It may be purple but it’s no shrinking violet.

Grey rocks

One more quickie before I head outdoors. Grey is such a magical colour, and I absolutely adore it in interiors, particularly when layered in multiple shades. This Oslo home I found on KK Living is divine – perfect use of grey tones throughout. A+!!!! (Photos: Yvonne Wilhelmsen)

Centered by Design

It is a holiday here in Canada and I have high hopes to get some de-uglifying of my front yard done before this afternoon’s thunderstorms arrive. So before I dash off, enjoy some designs by Chicago-based soon-to-be interior designer Claire Rose of Centered by Design, who strongly believes that your home is your personal sanctuary. It absolutely is.
P.S. I need more pets on furniture entries – if you have some fab furniture being taken over by your pets, snap a photo and send to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net
