Riarch Architects pushed the boundaries of basement design by going two stories below ground floor level to create a light and spacious kitchen and family room, with teen hangout beneath it. Thanks to a ton of windows and 2 huge sets of sliding glass doors, you would never know you were technically in a basement. Impressive!
