I love the way natural light plays across a room. What a beautiful space to be in as the sun starts to set. So warm. So golden. Don’t get me wrong. I love this room (and house) by Domenic Alvaro in any light but there is just something special about the first too photos.

Welcoming, understated, just a little cool and just right. Not your ordinary burger and dog joint. A hip mix of concrete and white tiles warmed by wood tones. Nordburger by Genesin Studio. I’ll have a mushroom burger thanks!

It has been an eternity since I featured the work of San Francisco-based John Lum Architecture and because I love the simplicity of their work and how wonderful their spaces are once all done up I thought I would share a random sample of some recent projects.
