I will never tire of REAL subway tiles, but am tired of faux subway tiles.
@Claire — the plumbing in this picture is uncoated brass, not copper. It darkens (tarnishes) until it is polished again. I installed antique brass plumbing fixtures like this in our first home (not faux new taps). It was truly beautiful, but a lot of work to keep looking good — it is not as simple as wiping chrome.

I totally wholeheartedly love it ! lol … it is everything I like. Light with light coming in and not fussy. I hate a fussy bathroom.
