Black and white

Posted on Sun, 25 Oct 2015 by KiM

Another newbie on the Shoot Factory roster, this British home caught my eye the other day. This new build in the thriving seaside town of Aldeburgh was inspired by the fisherman’s huts on the beach and takes full advantage of the wonderful view across the marshes. With a modern, Scandinavian vibe in black and white, I could easily live here and not change much. And how about that kitchen! Black kitchens rock my world.

Working on a Saturday

While some of you are booking tables at restaurants for a Saturday night out some of us are getting ready to serve you. A great night out on the weekend for some is just another shift at work for others. If you have to drag your sorry self into work on a weekend it should be to somewhere super stylish. I think Brasserie Blanc, Cheltenham, UK designed by Blacksheep might just be the sort of place to keep both groups happy.

Happy Friday!

Spotted this little gem on JJ Locations and had to share what few photos they have of this funky little Edwardian terrace. Nothing like adding vintage, antique thrift finds to give a home some character. That’s all I’ve got, so HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!

Jen Langston – Spanish Wells

Jen Langston‘s style is all about the marriage of old and new, simple architecture combined effortlessly with modern elements. This home is everything – stylish, timeless, casual, sophisticated, bright, inviting. And I would never leave that kitchen and dining nook.

A couple of previous features of her work are here and here
