You know what I say about working on a weekend. If you have to drag your sorry self into work then let’s hope it’s somewhere stylish. I would have no trouble putting in the extra hours at the offices of Evans and Partners by Bates Smart.
A few months ago Architectural Digest Spain published a feature on their website about incorporating art in your home. I had to share some of my favourites because I adore art, especially photography, and their round-up was superb. Here you go. Eye candy for your Friday. Happy weekend everyone!

I think I just found my perfect weekend escape. Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings, salt water pool, tennis court, chicken coop, organic veggies, barn, an amazing mid century furniture collection and just 90 minutes from Sydney.
“Gunu Berrima is a boutique retreat in the stunning Southern Highlands of NSW, Australia. Just a short drive from the historic village of Berrima, the native bushland 100-acre property is home to a haven of Australian wildlife. The Tuscan homestead is engulfed by a natural food farm (Eat Fit Farm) producing a wide variety of fruit and vegetables for Sydney health food company (Eat Fit Food). The contemporary-meets-classic house interior has been custom-designed by celebrated decorator Jason Sullivan, with commissioned art from the new face of Italian abstract art, Marco Lorenzetto. Adorned with all the comforts of a holiday-house paradise, guests of the 3 suite retreat can enjoy the great Australian outdoors as well as tennis & swimming all from the privacy and comfort of the farm.”
If I could I’d stay forever. You can book Gunu Berrima at airbnb.
Winter is upon us here in these parts once again and as usual, I am freaking miserable and counting down the days until Spring arrives. Maybe I would not be so crabby if I had a gorgeous chalet such as this one (in Rougemont, Switzerland I believe) to spend my time in. I would be perched right in front of the fire drowning my frozen sorrows in a 4th glass of red wine. By Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi.
Atlanta, Georgia based Beth Kooby Design is all about creating spaces that have a perfect balance of style and function. A casual vibe that is youthful and timeless at the same time, Beth’s designs have totally won me over. Especially the first bathroom floor tile below. Ann Sacks for the win!!!
