Stalking the 70s

Retrolicious brought back to life in Aldgate in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. This 70’s architect designed home (Hassell & Partners) has been lovingly brought back to life by the current owners. True to its groovy heritage baby without too much cliché creeping in. Just wish the majority of the photos were as good as the few that were obviously taken for editorial or portfolio reasons. A big thanks to Deb for stalking this brown brick beauty for us. Would it surprise you that I want to move in? Link here while it lasts.

Wow…just went back in time. The art & lighting in this house are beautiful as are the windows and greenery. Very cool

Great architecture and I love those fishtail tiles in the bathroom!

There seems to be a discrepancy between picture #4 and 5 which obviously present the same table and chairs sitting behind the chimney, but with a stairs that are not positionned at the same place. In the picture #4 the ramp is on two sides of the area, while it's only on one side on picture #5. There must have been some work done between the two.

This is a gorgeous house, in a lovely part of the Adelaide Hills. I am currently renovating a late 60's/early 70's Adelaide house and am always looking for inspiration – this is truly lovely!

Nathan … Have a look at the link to the real estate listing where there are more photos and a floorplan of the house – there is more than one set of stairs.
