I have just a bit more eye candy for you before your weekend begins. This comes from Paul Lavoie Interior Design based in Calgary. With a Hollywood Regency vibe, these spaces are knockouts with graphic elements including some awesome art and vignettes that are magazine worthy.

How about a fabulously refurbished Victorian home for your Friday viewing pleasure. This home has been made over into 2 maisonette apartments and fortunately many of the original details like the moldings (*SWOON*) have been left intact. Featuring chevron-laid hardwood and some gorgeous marble fireplaces, this is a beauty, and for sale via Domus Nova.

Here’s my second house for the day. Remember the back story. Same suburb, same street, a few meters separate them. A timber cottage with just a touch of gingerbread about it but what’s that I see? First stalking of the year and I’m excited. (Beats chest. Bellows loudly. Frightens neighbour’s children.) I’m in Rozelle, Sydney and but it’s not just one home I’m stalking. It’s two. Two houses, same suburb, same street, separated by scant meters. I’m partial to both, can’t afford either but my love affair with small heritage cottages with architect extensions continues.
