When modern mixes with classical design, and black, white, brass and marble comes together to create the most incredible kitchen. That antique painting is ideal in this space and makes the brass details pop. I could not love this kitchen more. Except if it were mine. A Jason Arnold project fit for a queen. That backsplash behind the sink makes me crazy–not in a good way. Thats one way to deal with a window too close to the sink/fitings. Maybe not the best.
Other than that, its a great kitchen.
Rae says:
Yep..agree with Melanie – why block a windowsill – apart from that inspiring!

Looking through the windows at what is outside doesn't look real.

I have the same issue and I think it a great solution, otherwise one must change the window or move the plumbing.
KiM says:
I think the marble is a really great alternative to the costly route of changing plumbing or replacing the window. Plus I think it looks adorable like this.

I don't understand the slavish devotion to 'stainless steel appliances' but if you're going to have them, then work with them. The gold colored range hood and cabinet handles look like either leftovers or an idea that's not been seen through to completion. Odd choices.
