California dreaming

Posted on Fri, 8 Jul 2016 by midcenturyjo

Oh yes dreams are made of homes like this. San Francisco architects YamaMar have breathed new life into this mid century home in the Berkeley Hills, enhancing the indoor/outdoor living and upgrading finishes. Then Alison Damonte worked her magic, staging the home with a subtle mix of mid century and modern pieces accentuated by bright colour pops.

Another project by Studio McGee

Studio McGee is consistently a top notch resource for thirst-quenching interior decor inspiration. This Pacific Palisades project is among one of my favourites. Classy furnishings, lots of crisp white, a kitchen that could not be more inviting, dreamy bathrooms with marble countertops and tiles that have me swooning, a bit of pattern for some graphic detail…it is a home I want to sink my teeth into. A converted barn

Rustic meets luxury in the Victorian country in this barn conversion by Built by Wilson. Corrugated iron, old timbers and stone softened by leather and wool. Iconic materials and attention to detail breathe new life into what was once a working farm building now the perfect space to gather, celebrate or relax in style.
