This extensive renovation in Carroll Gardens takes the building back to its beautiful, simple bones and seamlessly inserts the perfect living space for a modern family so that traditional and contemporary complement and enhance.

Anyone else as besotted with deVOL kitchens as I am? Beautiful, handcrafted, traditional but up to anything that modern day life throws at them. Love.

Ninou Etienne of Fusion D is all about the fusion of drop dead gorgeous original architecture in dwellings around Bordeaux, France and the modernist sensibilities of her clients. In this home Ninou added graphic elements with tile and wallpaper for some drama and playfulness. You walk through the door and BOOM!

There’s something subliminal going on with my posts so far this week. Beach houses and holiday rental accommodation, accommodation and houses by the sea. Perhaps I need some time off?
