Eclectic decor in a British town house

Posted on Sun, 20 Nov 2016 by KiM

Stalking a jungalow bungalow

Oooooh did I just type that as a post title? It’s true though. A light filled, modern extension to this early 1900’s house is the perfect spot for indulging in a little plant lovin’. Great family home! I’m stalking in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Kensington. Link here while it lasts.

P.S. The video shows the house off better than the pictures IMO.

Host Unusual

Friday and the working day drags on and on and on. When will I be free? When will the weekend finally be here? You know by now that my solution to the working day’s drudgery is to escape on a virtual getaway… except today is lots of getaways. Everything from architect designed homes to country cottages, towers to windmills, gypsy caravans to treehouses all via Host Unusual, a hand-picked directory featuring the most unusual and exciting holiday accommodation in the UK. I’ve only featured a few here. (Clicking on the picture will take you to the listing.) I guarantee you’ll get lost for ages checking out all the properties they have to offer. And remember we may be daydreaming today but these are actual real holiday homes. A dream can become a reality.
