I adore this home designed by Heidi Woodman of Haus Love, a shop and design firm located in Indianapolis. Fantastic dark accents throughout against very light backdrops, statement light fixtures and graphic art (love the gallery wall!), all with an ethnic influence. What’s not to love about this? It’s timeless and functional and total eye candy.

Perforated

Internal courtyards and screens allow this home to be open and light filled without sacrificing privacy. Concrete grounds the open plan building providing solidity while walls of glass, slats and perforations allow light to penetrate throughout. Plantings soften and mellow, golden timbers warm. A contemporary family home by Melbourne-based Schulberg Demkiw Architects.

I could not help but do a second post to showcase more of Marie Flanigan‘s work. Eye candy for your afternoon.

WHOA. Quite an impressive collection of alcohol.

Refined elegance by Marie Flanigan

Good morning lovely DTI readers! Just a quick note that over the past couple of weeks I worked on and and scheduled posts to publish starting today running to the end of the month as I am headed to Mexico Wednesday. Monday’s pets on furniture will return in February.

It was not that long ago that Jo shared some fabulous spaces by Houston-based interior designer Marie Flanigan, but I am back with more! Refined elegance with subtle dramatic touches with a gorgeous wallpaper, a dreamy light fixture, a dark wall, large scale art. Luxurious without being pompous.

Sophisticated 70s

It seems that most Mondays I want to run away. I never seem to be able to face the new working week. Today I want to be wandering through the marble halls of interior designer Caroline Legrand‘s Ibiza pad. A monochromatic palette, sophisticated 70s pieces and texture on texture. Brown and beige never looked so cool.
