Light and dark

Posted on Thu, 16 Feb 2017 by KiM

Effortlessly beautiful with light flooding in through impossibly tall windows. Elegantly serene with a white on white palette. What could be better than this stylish living room with beni ourain rug and ornate fireplace by New York based designer Tom Delavan? Perhaps a dark and moody bedroom with Tuareg rug and ornate fireplace?

When you don’t want your house looking like your neighbour’s. Jenn Feldman Designs – she’s all about in your face bold sophistication. Drama with dark colours, graphic artwork and fabrics and all the wallpaper! I am totally in love with her style – so much so there’s a part 2 to this post coming later.

It’s hard to be neutral

Posted on Wed, 15 Feb 2017 by midcenturyjo

I’m passionate about the neutral tones of this Greenwich Village apartment by Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. Love the biscuit and the taupe, the tan and the ecru, the caramels, creams and whites. Don’t get me started on the Tobia Scarpa Soriana sofa, the lighting, the marble and the brass. I’m loving the bedroom and the matching shower and dressing room. No I’m definitely not on the fence about the gorgeous home that the pair share with their daughter Poppy. Perfect.

A midcentury bungalow in Spain

A little midcentury Palm Springs style in Bendinat, Mallorca. These colours in this climate is FABULOUS!!! I die for those fuschia dining chairs with the marble table. So good! Designed by Bconnected
