Spanish Mission style renovation

Posted on Wed, 21 Jun 2017 by midcenturyjo

A sweet renovation of Spanish style home in Los Angeles by Jette Creative. Exposed beams were added, floors stained dark, encaustic tiles transformed kitchen and bathrooms and a limited palette of black and white was highlighted with blues, greens and brass. The exterior was reworked with stucco and paint while a self contained studio is the prize at the end of the garden. So stylish, so bright and fresh, so cool!

Sparky says:

I am such a sucker for these little Spanish Colonial-esque California bungalows!

Beth says:

Please let me live in the studio at the end of the garden.

Thanks so much for the call out for Encaustic tiles. The ones in this lovely home are by Granada Tile. They are handmade, eco-friendly, made to last and, oh yes, beautiful!

The pattern in the kitchen/bathroom is Badajoz and the master bathroom is Torino.

Amy Brenner says:

Do you happen to know the paint color on the stucco and the black trim?

Also i am in desperate need of awnings and i love these. can you please help me find them

KiM says:

Sorry Amy we do not know the details of the products used in these photos.

Kristina says:

Can you please tell me the paint color on the cabinets in the kitchen? Thank you !

KiM says:

We don’t know Kristina but it looks similar to Farrow & Ball Railings
