I had to share this bold apartment in Moscow I found yesterday on The Village because I love when designers show creativity and take risks. Hats off to Marina Zhukova for having the guts to go all Jonathan Adler-esque in her own space. All of the wild colours used throughout along with all the fabulous wallpapers and tile work make for some serious graphic, dramatic statements.

could someone push the green velvet couch away from up against the wall and bring it out into the room onto the rug and put something behind the couch and a couple of huge potted trees just for a bit of relief- break from all the pattern and colour which i love = so much to love and lust after in this place. Amazing kitchen sink and benches.

Wow! Whoever said Moscow is dull and dreary?!? Though I prefer the cooler-toned rooms, loving the overall sense of fun, color that wraps itself around you and cartoon elements like that fantastic oversize tassel.

I just love the decorative tiles used in creating such design patterns on the floors and walls of each room. It is truly unique in style, giving the touch a personality of its own. The tiling job that was done to the bathroom is amazing. I like the wall tiles on the bathtub side, as well as the zigzag pattern near the bathroom sink which gives an ethnic feel.
