Of course now this sofa has gone to its new home I find myself completely drawn to green and red πŸ˜‚. Entirely predictable of course, always so fickle! The Lichtenstein dog poster we bought when we first went to the Guggenheim in New York, even though it’s only a poster it has such great memories and emotions associated with it – including being our first large scale artwork back in the day. Stoked to have had this room picked for #gallerywallhashtag. Coincidentally I recently blogged in defence of the gallery wall, since I rediscovered my love for them. We hung this wall using Velcro 3M strips so we could easily make little adjustments to get them lined up. The myth (or is it a curse) of the Saturday lie-in has struck again. 6.30am up with the lark, fresh as a daisy and ready to go I was. Despite having had one or two glasses of wine more than was strictly necessary last night. Stagger downstairs to find the coffee pot to see that her imperial highness Princess Enid is having no such trouble with the lie-in concept. She is positively revelling in her lying-in. And there is a strong chance that now I have vacated my side of the bed she will take it. Let’s go with kindly keeping it warm for me until I can get back in. This poor little pup had his ears flushed for the third time in six months yesterday. He is feeling very sorry for himself. Attached please find a picture of Chubby.  He is a Sphynx rescue from our local shelter. Chubby lives in Morgan Hill, CA which is the southern tip of Silicon Valley here in Northern, CA. I don’t know how old Chubby is…probably around 5-ish. He loves to Sun himself on my beautiful chair. It is his throne.
