A loft apartment in London

Posted on Sun, 20 May 2018 by KiM

Keeping things simple and somewhat minimalist today with this loft apartment in London. Gorgeous worn wood floors, concrete columns, a dramatic dark panelled bedroom and some homeliness added in with some paintings and lot of plants makes this apartment something I could totally call home. Available as a location space via Shoot Factory.

Stalking on a Saturday

I’m stalking again. Walking down virtual streets, peering through the virtual nets and basically just being a virtual busy body. I love to see how people live even if it is a striped back and tidied up look to make the real estate listing photos just so. Today’s house in the Melbourne suburb of Armadale sports a late 19th century facade but a very modern rear addition and pool. The link to the listing is here while it lasts.

The kitchen love continues

Floor to ceiling windows, bespoke cabinets with a waterfall marble countertop, brass accents and rich wooden floors. What’s not to love about this stylish Baltimore kitchen by Bria Hammel Interiors? Add the cutest little corgi and well, it’s just about perfect. If you love the look then you can see more of this stunning house here.

I love a good before and after. Dowdy and dull is transformed into light and bright, frumpy into fabulous family living. It’s been a while since we featured the work of Brooklyn-based mercer INTERIOR so I was excited when Elizabeth Mercer Aurandt and her team sent us their latest project. (You can see our previous post here.) Wow what a transformation! The home has been reimagined with a light colour palette and stylish, contemporary furniture, reinvigorating the rooms and, I’m sure, how the family use their new home.

Great new floors can take your renovation to the next level but don’t let them break your budget. Find cheap laminate flooring online and you can get the perfect look at a great price.

Modern minimalism in a historic shell

No ornamentation, no excess, no ostentation. Beautiful finishes, attention to detail, quality, quality, quality and an emphasis on function. It’s the formula Madrid-based architectural and interior design firm Ventura chose to create this modern, minimalist renovation within a historic apartment. Clean, sleek luxury with warmth and style.
