Eclectic in Paris

Posted on Sun, 8 Jul 2018 by KiM

My love for eclectic Paris spaces will never waiver at the rate they keep popping up during my searches for content to share here on the blog. This home in the red light district of Pigalle in Paris is heavenly. The stained glass windows are absolutely breathtaking, as is the molding detail in the dining room and bedroom. The eclectic vibe of the furnishings brings the Parisian chic vibe home (literally). Via Architectural Digest China, photos: Stephan Julliard.

Working on a Saturday

Have to drag yourself into work on a weekend? It would be so much easier if your workplace looked like these offices by Sydney-based interior designer Tamsin Johnson. The light flooding in through glass and steel, the patina on the walls, the artwork, Le Bambole sofas and Cesca chairs in the boardroom. They would have trouble getting me to go home not the other way around.

I’m not sure what I love more about this Manhattan apartment – the hardwood floor, that glorious sofa in the perfect shade of pink, that insane marble or the copper kitchen cabinets. WOW!!!!! By Atelier AM.

A modernized Victorian home in Toronto

Posted on Fri, 6 Jul 2018 by KiM

Perhaps it’s obvious that Victorian homes are my absolute favourite. Particularly when the architectural details and original finishes are maintained and a more modern touch is added in the decor. That juxtaposition of styles blows my mind. Toronto Interior Design Group is blowing my mind with this one. The jewel tone accent colours really jazz this home up.

Casa Josephine

Summer getaways to me mean simple, relaxed living kicking back in style. This 19th century house in Spain’s La Rioja region has been converted by Casa Josephine Studio into a colourful, light filled holiday rental packed with personality, the perfect base to immerse yourself into all things Spanish.
