A loft in a converted warehouse

Didier Ryan of British architecture firm Undercurrent Architects worked some magic on this warehouse conversion to create an absolutely fabulous loft. What was once a furniture depot for the renowned department store Harrods is now modern, unfussy and spacious. Featuring windows I would do just about anything for.

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me where the book shelves come from. That place is a grand wee pad! Thank you for sharing.

Åsa, Gothenburg says:

OMG! I love this, feels cosy and that someone actually lives here, not a showroom.
Moyra: I think that a shelf like this can be built with material from a building store/construction company etc for a fairly good price and it would fit the space you need it for. A friend has done a similar thing! Good luck!

What a proper light can do for an atmosphere.
