Stalking in Melbourne

I’m stalking black and white with colourful art in South Melbourne. The renovation and extension to the period Victorian terrace house by Finnis architects retains the original heritage detailing while creating an understated tranquillity through a modern, minimalist touch. Link here while it lasts.

Am I the only person amused that the stylist set up books in the fireplace, ready to be kindling for one of those chilly Melbourne nights?

Rainy says:

Blanders – Haha! Good one! My eyes rolled at the fireplace picture, that’s for sure. I always think I’m just not artsy enough when I see people ‘decorating’ their fireplaces. Maybe that’s because I use mine for fires. 😉 😉

The Furnshop says:

What a beautiful house it is. I am in love with these gorgeous pictures. Many thanks for sharing this awesome post.

Åsa, Gothenburg says:

I could move in anytime. The balcony… wow!
