I think we can clearly see here that the expression is Butter Wouldn’t Melt. Still, makes a change from sitting between me and the lap top on my desk which she has been mostly doing this week. I don’t kid myself this is out of affection, but rather the best vantage point to see out of the window at anything that may be flying by. Hey guys I’ve got a new piece of art! It’s by @amelie.hegardt, it’s called ‘Dancer’ and I bought it from @rockettstgeorge.co.uk (though I’ve just noticed that new shop @margaux_home_margate is selling her prints too.) I actually borrowed it for a shoot last summer and I haven’t stopped thinking about it which is always a sure sign that you should own it! I LOVE how easy it is to discover all sorts of art, old and new, on Instagram and see different ways of styling it. I’m going to be working a little with @freshartfair this Spring which I’m hoping will also take me on a journey of discovery! Well, Pablo seems to be enjoying the new look of our living room! If you’ve been following me on Stories, you’ll know that I decided to do a really quick budget-friendly update on this room before work starts on the extension on Thursday (this room is safe from the chaos but still 😱!) and if I’m honest, it came out even better than I’d hoped. And a couple from me – not really pets on some furniture but it’s all I had on my phone 🙁 The first are a bunch of the OG’s checking out the new fibreglass column I found at an antique shop for $70. You’ll notice a cardboard sofa in the background my husband made for them while we await the arrival of our new sofa. LOL And another bunch of cats hanging out in the kitchen one evening.
