Beachy vibes in a renovated New Jersey home

Lots and lots of white, wood and natural tones and hits of blue turned this renovated New Jersey home into a beachy, bright, relaxed home perfect for family life. Beautifully executed by Salt Design Co. (photos: Raquel Langworthy)

The cabin + the snug

Posted on Thu, 15 Aug 2019 by KiM

I dream of owning a cabin in the woods, a refuge from city life. If that dream ever becomes reality, I want it to look exactly like the Anderson Island, Washington cabin and snug of interior designer Heidi Caillier. Not many people would go dark like this but kudos to Heidi for taking a risk and completely nailing it. (Photos: Haris Kenjar)

Sh-sh-shingles

I’m still real estate strolling scrolling and I have stumbled upon this cute little gingerbread cottage but look closer and you will find it’s a new build home by Mani Architecture with a thoroughly modern interior. Thoughts? Link here while it lasts.

You all know I like a Victorian era house. Brick or stone is even better. Gritty, old suburb perfect. Add a modern extension and I’m weak at the knees. Well this beauty in Melbourne’s Cremorne has one more thing that has turned me into a salvering mess … a fabulous Papua New Guinea tribal art collection. How much for the house and contents? When can I move in? Link here while it lasts.
