Juniper Tedhams

Posted on Tue, 18 Feb 2020 by midcenturyjo

Juniper Tedhams originally trained as a painter and it tells. Considered composition, her use of light as yet another design element. Her next move into antiques honed her curatorial eye, informed her furniture selections. The final move into interior design was a given. Restrained, elegant, sophisticated.

Modern farmhouse

Posted on Tue, 18 Feb 2020 by midcenturyjo

“A classic Long Island farmhouse that reflects how we live and entertain today, in which unique connections between spaces allow for a variety of interactions and connections.”

Situated in an old orchard this traditional gable roofed home has had new life breathed into it with a contemporary interpretation of farmhouse aesthetics by Elizabeth Roberts Architects. Fundamental to the new design are the sun room re-imagined with cement tiles, pine panelling and wood burning stove, the perfect spot for all year round living and a welcoming kitchen where family and friends can gather.

Earth tones in a Paris apartment

Posted on Mon, 17 Feb 2020 by KiM

Wow. WOW. It’s spaces like these that make me crave earth tones sooooooo much. Shades of white, cream, brown and black make for such a warm, easy-on-the-eye atmosphere. Paris designer Émilie Bonaventure of BE Attitude created an absolute masterpiece with this apartment in the 9th arrondissement. Those curved windows and doors are such a dream.

"I didn't choose this life, this life chose me." ~ Quito🐶💕 . Yes, he's spoiled rotten but we love him for the fact he'll wait until there's a throw on the sofa before he'll curl up. Good doggo.😁 . . . Sources: Wallhanging- DIY (it's on my blog), crane print is a framed teatowel I've had for years and everything else tagged, no gifts . . . #swoonworthy #myhouse #interiordesign #interiorstyling #livingroom #livingroomstyle #dtipetsonfurniture #sheltie #sheltiesofinstagram #styling #myhomevibe #bohoglam #interiorsblogger #homedecor #interiorlovers #interiordesigninspiration #sassyhomestyle #livingroomdesign #artwall #parquetfloors #sodomino #apartmenttherapy #sassyhomestyle #glam #fabulousandfearless #howyouhome

News flash! My bedroom is having a mini update! I haven’t posted it for months because I don’t really like it any more but changes are afoot and right now I’m considering what I could possibly hang from that headboard! 🤔🌿😜🙌🏼. Can you think of anything? (Keep it clean please 😑😂). I also wanted to show you again this striped linen bedding from the wonderful @aerendeshop – everything stocked in this shop is highly sustainable and made by people who often experience barriers to employment. Check it out. 🙌🏼😘 . . . #bedroom #bed #bedding #duvet #duvetcover #pampasgrass #pampas #cockapoo #bedroomstyling #interiorstyling #interior_and_living #interiorstylist #interior123 #myhomevibe #interieur #easyinterior #ikeaatmine #apartmenttherapy #interieurstyling #abeautifulmess #bedtime

This guy gets me 😍 We taught Leroy to run from anywhere on our property straight to bed by yelling, "Bedtime!" . We call it out about twenty times a day for dog swaps, and he's super excited to get here every time 👍 . Thanks to various health ish, I've spent more than a fair share of time staring at my bedroom walls. I try to make this room a comfy, cozy, colourful space for no matter how often you find yourself in bed… & no matter how many legs you have! 😂 . See Leroy? I've got your back! (& Tummy & toe beans & anything else!) . Besides, when your bedroom is cozy, who wouldn't want twenty daily naps?? . . . . . . . #thechurchhouse #rockmyvibe #colorismyjam #colorlovedecor #🇨🇦decoreh #convertedchurch #dtipetsonfurniture #rescuedog #muttsofinstagram #adoptdontshop #vintage #society6 #diydecor #oldhouselove #thriftingwithmgc #hauteeclectic #eclecticallyspeaking #myhomevibe #showkateyourvintage #apartmenttherapy #eclecticallymade #womanmade #furnituremakeover #oilpainting #countryliving #rurallife #sodomino #showmeyourstyled #crashbangcolour #hauteeclectic

And some from me. Bernie just making it into the first photo, curled up on the ottoman of my Eternity Modern freeform sofa. Second one is Phoebe asleep on my antique grandfather chair in the jungle corner of my living room. And lastly, Felix is always surrounded by the semi-feral brothers.

Shoreline Hotel in Waikiki

Posted on Sun, 16 Feb 2020 by KiM

I could not imagine a hotel more fun than the Shoreline in Waikiki. Designed by BHDM Design, it is quite spectacular and I have never seen anything like it. Nature meets neon. BHDM incorporated the colors and textures found in the landscape and wildlife of Hawaii and filtered them through a neon lens. The aim was to create the most instagrammable hotel in Hawaii for the millenial-minded traveler, and the result: a boutique stay in an eternal sunset.
