Happy #Caturday! 🐱💕 I realised I haven’t shown this angle of the bedroom for a while and seeing as Meisha was being a cooperative model, I thought it’d made for a good one today. Next week is going to be slightly bonkers as I have a brand coming to shoot their new season product line in my home for the entire week so I’ll mostly be hiding in my office with the dog, essentially trying to stay out of the way.😄🤦🏽‍♀️ I doubt highly that Meisha will be as willing to do that, seeing as she needs to know what’s going on and get right in your business no matter what you’re doing! 😂 In fact, as I sit here writing this caption, she’s decided to crawl not just on my lap but also under my shirt. She really has no regard for personal boundaries. She’s just lucky she’s so pretty.🤷🏽‍♀️ . . . . . . #swoonworthy #bedroom #bedroomgoals #bedroominspo #howivintage #dtipetsonfurniture #bengalsofinstagram #bengal #styleithappy #livefabulousandfearless #luxuryinteriorsonabudget #howyouhome #suyhome #designinspiration #designdeinteriores #decoracioninteriores #interior4inspo #eclecticdecor #livingetcmag #livingetcuk #interior4you1 #instahome #interiordesignideas

I’ve been struggling with posting to Instagram this month mostly because my house is bloody dark 🙈 but Quito was looking pretty damn cute so I figured I’d throw this one up here.🐕💕 Over on the blog, I’ve been talking about my love/hate relationship with this platform 🤷🏽‍♀️ – I know there’s a place for it and there are things I love but I’m struggling to balance my time between my blog (which is and remains my first love) and Instagram. I’ve had so many insightful and eye-opening comments on the post so I’m getting the impression I’m not the only one feeling frustrated! If you fancy joining the convo, you can head over to the post by clicking the link in my profile and this post and you’ll get taken straight to the post and then if you fancy, you can go all old-school and leave a comment! I KNOW SO RETRO. Or ya know, you can comment here if you are one of the cool kids, I’m not fussy! 😂 . . . . https://www.swoonworthy.co.uk/2020/01/the-trouble-with-instagram.html/ . . . . #swoonworthy #livingroom #livingroomdesign #livingroominspo #sheltiesofinstagram #sheltie #dtipetsonfurniture #interiordesignideas #abmathome #styleithappy #howihome #interior4you1 #instahome #interiordetails #interiorandhome #designattractor #makeyousmilestyle #designinspiration #designdeinteriores #decoracioninteriores #interior4inspo #eclecticdecor #livingetcmag #livingetcuk

Morris has officially claimed this as ‘his’ bedroom. Every night when he’s had enough of watching TV on the sofa, he trots off and puts himself to bed 🛌 Sometimes I sneak in and watch him sleeping like a baby 😴😂 . . . . . #dogsofinstagram #dogsinmyhouseandhome #dtipetsonfurniture #dogsinbed #thedogandthedecor #postitandsmile #styleithappy #styleitreal #myvintagerevival #myhomevibe #myinteriorvibe #petsonfurniture #petsinbed #spoodlesofinstagram #doodlesofinstagram #pupsofinsta #bestwoofs #goodboysofinstagram #blackdogsrule #blackdogsofinstagram #petportrait #doodlelife #thiscreativehome #lovetohome #interiorswithpersonality #interiorjunkie #ourhomeobsession #interiorescapism #interiorvampire #eclecticallymade

Current view. Have I mentioned quite how much I love being at @onemillhouse?? It really is my happy place. Nobody ever books to stay in Jan, so we tend to come here as many weekends as we can. We also have the luxury of leaving all our stuff out and not doing a frantic tidy before we leave. Next weekend though, we have the first of four guests staying throughout Feb, so we’re back to fleeting visits where we mainly water plants, check loo roll/cleaning products/tea supplies and generally have our maintenance hats on. There’s still one weekend free in Feb and a few in March if you fancy sitting here with this view… . . . #myhyggehome #hyggehome #hyggelife #cosyhome #cosyliving #livingroomdecor #livingroominspo #scandistyle #scandiboho #scandibohohome #plywoodwalls #plywooddesign #woodburningstove #woodburner #howivintage #myvintageabode #myvintagehome #finditstyleit #thisiswhyihavetothriftshopeveryday #finahem #midcenturyfurniture #dtipetsonfurniture #mydogmatchesmydecor #spiderplant #bohoplants #bohoismyjam #finahem

☺ . . . #bedroom #bedroomdecor #bedroomdesign #homedecor #decor #decogram #designdeinteriores #interiordesign #quarto #bed #cats #catsofinstagram #instacats #sleep #dormir #peacefuo #vintage #reuse #decoração #homesweethome #instadecor #nordicstyle #DTIpetsonfurniture #cooper #happypettuesday Check out ➡ @homestylicious for great decor ideas!

And some from me: Felix is the worst note taker and not very helpful while I’m working remotely….In late afternoons you will always find brothers Frankie and Bernie sunning themselves in the living room….and Milo loves to curl up on the bed next to me.

A 1700’s period townhouse in London

Posted on Sun, 10 May 2020 by KiM

A bit of period magic for your Sunday viewing pleasure. This early 1700’s townhouse in Spitalfields, London is everything you could dream of in a home from that era. Left virtually untouched, as it should be, it is a step back in time with old floorboards, stone, brick, shutters, windows, beadboard, moldings and all the good things. Available as a location home via Shoot Factory.

Working on a Saturday

Lock down is slowly being lifted here in Australia. We have been fortunate with just under 7000 cases of COVID-19 and 93 deaths in a country of 25 million. Did I just write that 93 deaths were fortunate? How life has changed for all of us. Through prompt and coordinated action by our Commonwealth and State Governments and with the united cooperation of our population we have come through this crisis and even though our economy is shattered we are starting slowly to rebuild.  Step by small step. Our thoughts are with our brothers and sisters throughout the world especially those who have suffered horrendous death tolls and massive unemployment.

It seems a bit trite to do a post on stylish work places but I see it as a defiant raised finger to a virus and governments who aren’t doing enough. Eff you. We will come through this and we will one day be happy to drag ourselves into work on a weekend especially if our work place looks like a calm, zen like oasis. Looking forward looking back

I’m taking a little journey back to historic Como House in South Yarra. No not a physical journey, more like a jump back a couple of years to Como By Design, a show house featuring 23 of Melbourne’s eminent interior designers under the helm of Tigger Hall. The magnificent house is owned by the National trust so the designers were not able to alter the fabric of the rooms and had to return them to the original state once the event was over including the original wall colour! The house was completely transformed – 2 days to set up & 1 day to pack down. I’ve embedded links to each designer in the pictures. Time to go for a little journey yourself.

Like an arrow to the heart

Like an arrow from Cupid’s bow it’s a case of love at first sight for this Berlin apartment. Thoroughly modern but with just a hint of Art Deco. I do believe I have a new kitchen crush. Glogauer Apartment by New York based White Arrow.
