An interior designer’s tiny renovated cottage in the Cotswolds

It doesn’t get much more quaint than this. This is the wee cottage in the Cotswolds of designer Victoria Barker of Studio Faeger, who undertook a sympathetic renovation of the space when she bought it in 2017 to uncover all the beautiful features that had been buried in the 70s. It is as cute as a button. (Photos from Studio Faeger website and Tom Griffiths for House & Garden, and this is available to rent on Airbnb).

Karen says:

I am just in the process of buying a teeny tiny cottage, which is much smaller. I absolutely love what you have done with yours, but I’m having difficulty utilising the space, no dining room etc and a tiny kitchen area and small lounge. I would love to see more of your ideas.

June Boyle says:

One could just nestle in there. The beams look had hewn and certainly add to the antiquity of this home. I love it!

Sue says:

Lovely and charming. Where did she get the striped chair that her pup is sitting in? Can you provide a link?

KiM says:

Sorry we don’t know where it’s from

Wendy Smith says:

This is my dream cottage you are very blessed šŸ’•

Rose says:

To say that I love it would be an understatement! Absolutely beautiful!

Lynina says:

A very inviting space and a true labor of love to wallpaper between the beams in the little bedroom!

Love fabric HATE when sites dont give info about the Products

Elise Huddleston says:

And the touch of the Vizsla is perfect!!!šŸ˜

Muriel says:

It is all so beautiful and welcoming.

Ilene says:

This is so blissful, peaceful. The wall colors are perfect, the white has a warm cast and the very soft terra cotta in the living room is beautiful. I love how the light reflects the colors too. The wall paper upstairs is lovely how you brought it right to the beams. Very charming, I’m sure you are very pleased with how it all came together (as well you should be!).
