The power of paint in a fully renovated home in London

Emilie Fournet Interiors used some really moody and dramatic colours in this renovated home in Hackney, London. It’s quite an amazing thing, how paint can really elevate a space and help create a mood.

Blanders says:

Besides the paint, what I like about this place is its design accessibility. Apart from the couch and a couple of designer light fittings, most things in this home could be thrift store finds or affordable pieces from mainstream furniture chains. No custom built-ins, no $50,000 artworks, no designer rugs… just paint and a great eye for design. It’s so refreshing!
