Lisman Studio

Lisman Studio Interior Design is based in Salt Lake City and is made up of several talented designers. Their style is contemporary and is so well suited to a broad range of tastes. Very versatile, comfortable and so easy to love. My favourites – the graphic patterns, hits of warm colour and the glass display cabinets along the top of their kitchens.

Narrow homes

Posted on Sun, 14 Dec 2008 by KiM

First I would like to say a quick congratulations to my lil’ sis Jen who got engaged last week. Her fiance Dave occasionally sends me links to photos and stories he thinks I may want to post on the blog. This one I HAD to post. I have mentionned that I have a very narrow house, being about 12′ 2″ wide, but the structures below are ridiculously narrow. I may never complain again about how annoying it is to decorate my narrow house. The first is in Paris, and the rest are in Japan where space is CLEARLY at a premium. (Thanks Dave, soon to be bro-in-law!)

I LOVE this Swedish flat up for sale. The white glossy floors, the all white walls, the floating stairs, the glass railings, the modern sleek kitchen, the bursts of colour…..

Chris Everard

Another brilliant photographer that must be featured here – this time by the name of Chris Everard. Love the crispness of his photos. I’ve got to point out the FAB painted grey floors. Oh, I must mention how much I adore black and white photography framed in white mats with white frames.
