Elegant and beautifully curated this Elizabeth Bay, Sydney apartment by Handelsmann + Khaw like the previous London apartment relies on a restrained colour palette and natural materials to imbue a sense of peace and calm in a hectic city. Chic, sophisticated and refined. Devine.

“It is about the fine balance between the simplicity of the forms, the carefully selected natural materials and textures, the respect of the context and unparalleled dedication to quality.”

A peaceful oasis with light-filled interiors on the top floor of a white stuccoed Victorian building not far from Kensington Palace. The neutral palette and attention to natural materials such as American oak, travertine and linen are sophisticated and chic. Kensington Apartment by London-based Onda Interiors.

Scandinavian, modern, minimalist vibes are evident throughout this Haussmannian apartment in Paris that was completely renovated by Hélène Pinaud and Julien Schwartzmann of architecture firm Heju. They preserved as many original details as possible, and moved the kitchen such that it became the central gathering spot. The pink marble countertop is beautifully subtle and I adore the added curve in the island which is then mimicked in the cabinet hardware and light fixture.

With so many oh so stylish apartments out there drowning in a sea of beige or is that off-white or white on white on white it’s refreshing to see an apartment with rich pops of colour. Deepest malachite green to washes of blue to textured grey. Upper East Side Apartment by Samuel Amoia.

Same block different apartment

It’s the same glass factory conversion as Friday and the same designers. It’s the same Belgian aesthetic but a totally different apartment. Admittedly the overall space is smaller but the sense of style is just as big. By Æ Studio.
