Kind of OJ

Posted on Fri, 7 Oct 2022 by KiM

Studio LoHo is a Belgian design office located in Bruges, Belgium. Founded in the autumn of 2017 by Karel Loontiens and Jo Hoeven, the studio focused from the beginning on high-end bespoke interior projects which forms an ideal matrix for product – and material design that is both innovative and durable. Kind of OJ is a brand new concept about authentic luxury, unique design & art. It is at the same time a B&B, a gallery for contemporary art and design, but also a laboratory for our own interior ideas. Such a beautiful and creative space.

A newly built country home in Oxfordshire

Hound House is a newly built built country home in the Oxfordshire countryside, designed by hám interiors. They used reclaimed materials which adds such beautiful touches to this home and leads you to believe it’s been around for centuries. The flooring choices really make this home shine.

Interior designers’ attention to detail and ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary is something after many years so blogging still continues to amaze me. Such is the case with the 1,750 sq ft Park Avenue apartment of designer Wesley Moon. It was bland and uninspiring and he went all out with onyx and marble and gilded wall panels and de Gournay wallpaper and gilded glass and cerused wood. It was transformed into his own version of the Vatican. Or a museum. (Check out the before/after pics)

The clients had a growing art collection. The interior designer had the cool ideas. The result is a liveable, character-filled home celebrating the lives and lifestyles of the owners. Art House by Melbourne-based Chelsea Hing.

P.S. Does anyone else want to lick those pink marshmallow walls?
