A bit understated, a bit modern, a bit glamorous yet warm and family friendly. This Madison Square Park apartment is home to fashion influencer (anyone else hate that word?) Arielle Charnas and her family and was designed by interior designer Hilary Matt. Here’s a tip: instead of going with a gallery wall, invest in one statement piece that will catch your eye immediately. Such drama!
“An exquisite refurbishment of a Brisbane apartment perched above the city skyline. Echoing Seidler’s sentiments within the architecture, form & function evolved through a play on curves, cantilevers, materiality & art as an integrated expression of ingenuity.”
The Harry Seidler building in Brisbane is iconic but the reimagining of this apartment high above the city is a perfect balance between bold new living and sympathetic referencing of Seidler’s design aesthetic. Avian Apartment by Alicia Holgar.
Within the refurbished château/farmhouse of designer Pierre Yovanovitch in Fabrègues, Provence is the marriage of rustic and sophistication. Plasterwork, stone and wood form the backdrop to modern and vintage furnishings and artwork. Each room more beautiful than the next.
Making a statement again with art, dramatic furnishings and in this case within a very large, modern home. Not for the timid. I don’t know many people who would be on board with sliding doors upholstered in bold fabric with huge silver lightning bolt handles. Among other things….. The owners must be art collectors. Or own a gallery. Another project by Carlos López of L.A. Studio.
Flamboyant, sassy, modern, vintage, colourful, dramatic…I love everything about this Madrid home designed by Carlos López of L.A. Studio. There is so much energy and just a general aura of coolness here.
