I came across the portfolio of Brazilian interior architect and designer Diego Revollo and was immediately drawn to this apartment (apparently owned by a stylist). I love the funky, dramatic vibe and I’m a huge fan of BIG BOLD artwork. Although in this case it’s….all boobs. To each their own I guess. I would never be able to have my little nieces and nephews (or my parents?) over without feeling totally awkward. But I do admire their collection. Very cool stuff (especially the piece – a macramé Mona Lisa? – hanging over the bed).

Artist David Bromley’s Byron Bay lair no less. Art and soul, living large and outrageously. A series of charcoal coloured cottages and sheds complete with outdoor baths, airstream and rusty truck. And you can buy it. It’s a “steal” at just over $1.5 million AUD. He will be taking his impressive art collection when he goes… except for those daubs on the walls. Imagine having David Bromley originals on your walls… literally on your walls. Fun, quirky and not to everyone’s taste it screams art as a way of life, not a trapping of success. I have been real estate stalking in Byron Bay, New South Wales as part of a week that will be heavy on beach shack beauties. Link here while it lasts.

Gorgeous rooms by Australian über design duo Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke of Arent & Pyke. Their aim? To create an easy elegance with a contemporary edge. Style with livability means that their designs are functional and beautiful. A seamless blend of colour, texture, warmth and sophistication. Inspiring. Passionate. Exquisite.
