This beautiful home in the suburbs of Madrid was designed by Isabel López-Quesada. A neutral palette, an eclectic blend of furnishings with a fairly strong lean towards mid-century and an all-around timeless vibe makes this a winner.

It’s a fine balancing act. Eclectic and exuberant, luxurious and timeless, family-friendly and West Side cool. Get it wrong and the balls will come tumbling down. No chance when your interior designer is Tali Roth. Her masterful reworking of this Chelsea townhouse is textured, layered, bold and bright.

Pardon me. I’m having a little daydream. The vaccines have brought Corona under control and we can travel again. I’ve packed my bag and hopped a plane to France. Gregory Mellor‘s aesthetic is understated and elegant with an emphasis on comfort and authenticity. For his own house in the South African countryside there is a mix of family antiques, textures and textiles. The look is rustic yet classically timeless.
