Prue Ruscoe, we love you

Posted on Thu, 22 Aug 2013 by KiM

I mentioned in my book review Monday that Australian photographer Prue Ruscoe was responsible for the wonderful interior photography. While we’ve featured her work several times on DTI, I realized it has been a while since the last post. So prepare to have your senses awakened, your inner design goddess stirred, and please don’t attempt to jump through your monitor into these spaces. Technology just isn’t there yet.

Sea of green

Close your eyes. Relax. Sleep will come. Like floating softly in a sea of green. Beautiful photography by Brie Williams.

P.S. To see the alternative view of this room (featured a couple of times on this blog) go to my original post here.

Wick Design

There is a connection. A physical tug at my heart strings. There is an acknowledgement, an empathy, an understanding. There is also envy. These rooms speak to me in calm, steady but persistent whispers. Enter. Be still. Dream. Interiors by Wick Design.

Collected

Cool, calm and collected. Not quite. More like colourful, vibrant and fun. Zest and zing from Perth-based interior design firm Collected. Family homes with style and personality. Modern mixes with rustic, touches of industrial sit well with texture and tribal and all meet with a splash of colour and a dash of midcentury. Just the way Australians love to live.

Photography by Joel Barbitta of D-Max Photography.

There’s no place like Laplace

Sorry for the pun. I couldn’t resist. Just like I can’t resist these interiors designed by Luis Laplace and his team. Modern, international, artful and art filled, successful and beautiful. Paris based Laplace& Co.
