Kelly Hopter Interiors

Posted on Tue, 26 Jun 2018 by KiM

Ines Mazzotta of Kelly Hopter Interiors is a designer based in Toronto whose aesthetic I instantly fell in love with. Glamorous, Parisian chic and dramatic. Many of these photos, including the first 6, are of her 140 year old home she has transformed into an absolutely gem for her family.

More proof Jean Stoffer loves blue

Posted on Wed, 20 Jun 2018 by KiM

Once again Jean Stoffer Design shows her love of blue in this beautiful Michigan home. Alongside the blue, brass accents really glam things up and WHOA her tile choices are spot on here. And the exterior is absolutely gorgeous too as a bonus. All of the black detail really modernizes it.

Stalking on a Saturday

I’m still stalking but I have climbed up into the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. I’ve always dreamed of an old wooden cottage as a weekend bolthole. Something just a little like this early 1900’s house with its modern barn like extension. Love the black exterior emerging from the verdant vines, the dark floors, the industrial meets colonial meets retro meets scandi vibe. It’s just a little rock and roll gypsy meets country town glamour. Link here while it lasts.

Stalking a stylist’s home

Posted on Fri, 15 Jun 2018 by midcenturyjo

I’m stalking in the Melbourne suburb of Armadale but it doesn’t feel like I’m really real estate stalking. I feel like I know this home so well. You see it belongs to stylist and writer Heather Nette King and I’ve lurked on her instagram account for years. (That doesn’t sound too creepy does it Heather?) It’s a beautiful family home full of character and colour, light and personality, just like I hope my own home will be when it finally emerges from its stalled renovations. Link here while it lasts.

Introducing my dream home!

Posted on Thu, 14 Jun 2018 by KiM

I’m almost at a loss for words. This home in Wentworth-Nord, Québec designed by Montréal architect Alain Carle is so incredibly beautiful from the outside in. Most of the wood and stone throughout the house are reclaimed and are what really make this home special. Alongside the concrete floors, plaster walls and crittall windows, it is a winning combination. Bonus points for the dark stained wood adding in some moody drama. This is everything I love.
