A cottage in The Cotswolds

Posted on Sun, 16 May 2021 by KiM

A little vacation to a cottage as beautiful and soothing and easy on the eye as this one would be a dream. This neutral stone & thatched roof cottage in The Cotswolds is all wood and white and sisal and stone and wicker and linen/cotton….it’s heaven. Available as a location home via Shoot Factory. Nordic Tudor

This Los Angeles Tudor home has a dramatic light and dark situation going on, with most of the spaces having a nordic/scandi pale wood and lots of white and neutrals going on, and then the kitchen takes a 180 degree turn and has several black elements. I love that unexpected pairing, especially when most people would go white in a kitchen (BORING!). Another fab space designed by Freudenberger Design Studio.

Sunday at White Water lodge

We’re still in lockdown so I’m dreaming of escaping to….just about anywhere. White Water lodge on Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA would be an absolutely fabulous getaway. What a stunning location! Designed by Freudenberger Design Studio.

French surf shack

Laid back, stylish and at one with its natural surrounds. An easy-going family home at Andernos-les-Bains in southwestern France perfect for entertaining friends (when we can do that again). Formerly a fisherman’s hut it’s now the perfect spot for indoor/outdoor living. Green Villa by Paris-based Maison Particulière.

What was once the very dated mid century Nashville home of country singer Tammy Wynette, is now a chic, hollywood glam meets contemporary cool and casual space with one of the sweetest pools I have ever seen. How much of a challenge would furnishing a home with so many curved walls be?! ‘TammyWood’ designed by Rachel Halvorson.
