Parisian Style

Posted on Tue, 8 May 2018 by midcenturyjo

There are the lucky few who live in Paris. There are the luckier few who live in a Haussmannian apartment with its sugar icing plaster details, beautiful floors and towering windows and doors. Then there are the luckiest few of all who live in a Haussmannian apartment renovated by Parisian interior designers Agence Véronique Cotrel. Shall we talk about that kitchen? Perhaps not as I just might tear up with jealousy.

A bright and colourful home

I’m location home-ing again this Sunday with this ray of sunshine from Shoot Factory. A beautiful and bright five bedroom detached family home with 3,000 sq ft over three floors. It is simply decorated yet so pretty with walls and moldings painted white and additions of colour through furniture, art and textiles.

Los Enamorados

I would give anything to take a vacation right now. And I think I have found the perfect spot! Los Enamorados is located in northern Ibiza, in the harbour of the little seaside town of Portinatx. This little paradise hotel consists of 9 rooms, a restaurant, beach bar and little shop (which includes some vintage finds). The decor is colourful, and rustic and sooo inviting. Oh how I would love to spend a week here!

An eclectic industrial loft in Madrid

Posted on Sun, 22 Apr 2018 by KiM

Nothing beats a backdrop of an industrial loft. Add in some vibrant colours, patterns, textures, and vintage furnishings and you have an eclectic and sophisticated space. This gem is located in a building in Madrid built in 1935 and was transformed by architect Peyo Basurto of Ping Pong Estudio, interior designer María Ruiz-Mateos and stylist Mercedes Díaz de Rábago. It is TO DIE FOR. Via Nuevo Estilo. (Photos: Pablo Sarabia)

I wanted to share another project by Thread Art and Design because I am smitten with Lindsay’s work. This one has a mid-century vibe and includes a deeper accent colour palette, some black for drama and not as much wallpaper. LOVE this home too.
