… to bring you this wonderful, colourful, joyous family home. The latest design by Suzy Hoodless. From the flamingo wall hanging for The Rug Company (a Hoodless design) and candy pastel colourway (inspired by the fashion label Acne’s carrier bags) to the basalt stone steam room with red fire hydrant tap by Marcel Wanders for Boffi, from the bluest of blue family bath to the bright light living room, this family home in west London is young and fresh and fun. New work, new website.

Carolina Escada and Patricia Landau are the talent behind architecture and interior design firm Escala Arquitetura, based in Rio de Janeiro. Whether their clients are into contemporary, retro or modern design, they’ve got it going on. I must mention that I am head over heels in love with the sofa in the photo above. Classic lines with modern upholstery in my favourite colour.   

Val Nehez and JJ Fox make up the Philadelphia/New York interior design firm Design Nehez. I freaked when I came across their portfolio. One word – WOW! Their spaces are creative, bold, fun and perfectly accessorized. They have a couple projects in particular that caught my eye – a mid-century makeover (with a to-die-for kitchen) featured after the jump and the bright, modern home in the first several photos. AWESOME LIVES HERE! (Check out the bread tab art installation below!)

Thomas Loof is a genius photograher. Composition = perfection. Lighting = ideal. Subjects = stunning. Some Friday eye candy at it’s finest. (And if you can’t get enough of Thomas’ work, check out this post from way back).

It’s been several months since Jo blogged (twice) the sublime photography of Swedish photograher Idha Lindhag, so I thought her work was totally worthy of a revisit. Fabulousness. And my next post later today features my favourites from Idha’s portfolio so stay tuned!
