Keeping things simple and somewhat minimalist today with this loft apartment in London. Gorgeous worn wood floors, concrete columns, a dramatic dark panelled bedroom and some homeliness added in with some paintings and lot of plants makes this apartment something I could totally call home. Thanks to Barbora for sending us this link to the quite small apartment (50 m² I think) in Prague of a filmmaker, located in a building built in 1905. Some original details remain, such as the tile stove and spruce floor. With lots of industrial touches it makes for quite the bachelor pad, and I have to chuckle at the lack of a refrigerator or stove (where does he keep the beer?)

It’s a play of colours, of shapes, of periods and styles. It’s a play on the senses, an appeal to desires and memories. It’s classic and it’s edgy. It’s theatre set and it’s home. This apartment for sale in Östermalm, Sweden is a total gem. Fairly roomy, a mix of dark and light spaces with some funky mid-century furnishings and bold lighting, and some beautiful blown-up photography on the walls. That pretty much sums up all of my favourite things in a home. Available via Lagerlings.

A well-thought-out combination of dark and light can be found in this apartment on West 9th Street designed by Sawyer | Berson. Looooove the glossy dark grey paint on all that woodwork. A neutral colour palette and nothing too precious or sparkly makes this a, dare I say, perfect bachelor pad (but if you need proof take a look at the last photo).
