I wanted to share another project (in case you missed Sunday’s post: here) by NICOLEHOLLIS where modern, edgy glam, with lots of black and brass set the stage again. Set within a classical Russian Hill, San Francisco townhouse, the home’s architecture makes it even more striking.

It should be obvious to you dear reader that my house drug of choice is the Victorian terrace. Yes, yes I know that they are narrow and dark and a lot of times are screaming out for a sympathetic modernisation but I can’t help it. I’m hooked. I’ve been real estate strolling scrolling and I’d like to get my grubby little fingers on this one. Great job so far and lots of potential for even more improvements. Small Courtyard, High Detail

What it lacks in size is more than made up in style and the attention to detail. Love the repeating circle motif, the lush planting of succulents and the promise of toasty evenings entertaining by the outdoor fireplace. So many ideas going into my inspiration file. Cottesloe garden by West Australian landscape architect Tristan Peirce (@tristan_peirce).

Loving the cabin-in-the-woods, hunting lodge, boys-only-club vibes in this home. This former home of hám interiors Co-Founder Tom Cox in Barnes reflects his character and talent for design at every turn. The colour palette and his eclectic private collection of artwork and curiosities give a nod to his passion for the great outdoors, as well as his tendency for the unexpected. This masculine scheme pairs pops of colour with a refined elegance, and reveals our expertise in creative spatial planning. The rear extension transforms the space, while the bespoke kitchen designed and built by our team is finished beautifully with meticulously sourced reclaimed items such as the sink, wall lights and stag water spout.

Working on a Saturday

It’s like I saw time and time again. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it’s somewhere amazing. How about an office in a stand of eucalyptus trees with red wine and a fire pit? The Rolling Stone Landscapes HQ & Design Studio.
