Amsterdam-based design firm concrete has created a new brand concept in hotel rooms, Zoku, a live-work-socialize hybrid for long stay professionals. Great design not just for hotels but jam packed with cool ideas for any small space living.

Perth’s newest boutique hotel, the Alex Hotel, is so cool, so funky, so hipster, so much fun. The interiors by Arent&Pyke are like a breath of fresh air. No stuffy, seen-it-all-before hotel rooms here. No. Young, fresh, fab. I can feel a trip to Western Australia on my horizon if only just to book in for a few days.

The Kameha Grand is a new hotel that opened in Zürich in March of this year. It is one of the most beautifully designed hotels I have ever seen, thanks to the talent and products of Dutch design guru Marcel Wanders. With modern architecture by tecArchitecture and neo-baroque interiors  by Mr. Wanders, this hotel has everything. It is luxurious and has themed rooms to match anyone’s desires. I need to plan a trip to Switzerland!
