These feral cats are making life a little tough these days and I am totally lacking sleep. I would give anything to get a night of 8 hours sleep in this Axel Vervoordt space, or curl up in that Hector Romero settee.

I love the element of surprise in a space. A modern chair pulled up to a early 1900s wooden desk. A graphic piece of art hanging above granny’s old rocker. A sleek glass dining table with an antique brass chandelier hanging above. I laughed when I stumbled upon these photos.

The loft space is heavenly but anyone with no sense of imagination would then fill it top to bottom with industrial decor (ok, this is probably an ad for Restoration Hardware or something similar so they can get away with it). I’ll forgive those responsible as I freaking LOVE those chesterfields and all that exposed brick.. (Photos by Scott Gabriel Morris)

I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a four day Easter break than exploring the über fabulous city of Sydney especially if the base for my foray was this apartment at XXV Challis. From the exquisite interiors by Pamela Makin to its perfect position in Potts Point I’d be tempted not to stray too far. Actually I think I’d never want to leave. From the amazing stable of prestige properties at Contemporary Hotels.

I wanted to share another project by Fox Design Studio, this time it is a home located in West Vancouver. This colour palette is similar to the last with the addition of blue, which only totally fitting for a home with ocean views. Full home renovation and redecoration for an empty nester’s second home. Sited on a rocky outcropping overlooking the Pacific, this large, east-coast inspired home features ocean inspired tones layered with classic luxury patterns and finishes.

That’s it. I’m moving in. No ifs. No buts. No excuses. This is as close to my perfect home as a stranger could design for me. Oh I love real estate stalking. This amazing home is in Woollahra, Sydney and the link is here while it lasts.
