This room blows my mind it’s so cool. I have a couple of things that bother me but I’m not even going to voice them because this room just deserves a moment of silence, and then a big *SIGH*. Via MilK.
And I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. 🙂 Jo and I are only taking Christmas Day off (and maybe New Years Eve) so keep coming back – we’ll be featuring our favourite spaces from our 2013 posts. Cheers!
Loving these spaces from the portfolio of Swedish stylist Jacob Hertzell. Whether minimal or mid-century, Jacob has got the magic touch. (Some of these are photographed by his brother Daniel Hertzell – the rest by another fav photographer of ours Magnus Marding).
It is about colour and pattern, fabrics and finishes, detail and layering. It is a fresh and vibrant twist on traditional and classic. If the bleached out, overexposed, white, black and wood of Scandi design is leaving you wanting more then drink in the designs of Ashley Whittaker. (And even more in Kim’s previous post.)
You may recognize the first few photos from an issue of Lonny – one of the most memorable IMHO thanks to the designs of fashion stylist and interior designer Estee Stanley. Well known for her chic, effortless and eclectic style, she is a designer without a signature look as she can knock out any style her clients are after. I love her mostly neutral palettes with drama added through graphic artwork, bits of black, funky lighting and other cool accents.
There was just too much goodness in Angie Hranowsky‘s portfolio so I had to do another post…featuring all of my favourite spaces. Brace yourselves!
