La Granada

Azar Fattahi and Lia McNairy of LALA Reimagined “approach and define design as an ‘art of living’ by pushing boundaries and challenging rules with their mix of contemporary and vintage.” This Hollywood is packed with pattern, colour and curves. The result is fun, fresh, forward and definitely not beige.

Rustic look luxury feel

“Described as “like stepping into an Old Masters painting” this penthouse apartment is a beguiling mix of rustic look and luxury feel. Original oak beams accentuate the double height ceiling in the open plan living space and add a feeling of earthiness which is enhanced by the use of clay plaster on the walls.”

A neutral colour palette and natural materials like stone and oak are balanced by statement lighting and a dramatic black fireplace. It’s a little wabi-sabi and a whole lot of luxury. Penthouse 09 by Banda.

Son Serra

“For us, true style lies in simplicity. We believe in the elegance of the natural and the understated, which is why we design interiors in which aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand. We are committed to warm, timeless and local materials such as wood or natural stone from the island, which bring coherence and sustainability to the spaces.”

I’m speechless. A truly beautiful home with a spartan luxury Son Serra by Mallorcan designers, Victoria Vidal and Feliu Rullan of multidisciplinary studio BonVivant.

Paddo Pool Terrace

The project may be called “Paddo Pool Terrace” but don’t let the slang fool you. This Paddington home with interiors by Handelsmann & Khaw is an elegant interpretation of Sydney living at its best with an emphasis on light and space, natural materials and the connection between indoors and out. (Architecture by Luigi Rosselli Architects and landscape design by Dangar Barin Smith.)

A family home full of grace

Full of Grace Interiors that is. This house in the Melbourne suburb of Ivanhoe has been transformed by Therese Carrodus into a colourful family home.

“The owners of this 1940’s two-storey property engaged Full Of Grace to transform their existing home into a space that would be functionally liveable as well as visually stimulating. Their brief was to seamlessly transcend the design eras from the 1940’s to present day combining retro glamour with modern day functionality.”
