Ann-Marie and Oliver emailed us recently wanting to share their renovated London home with us. It’s a Victorian cottage that they completely gutted and extended (and fortunately they included some before photos). The decor is stunning – all light woods, creamy and white walls, gorgeous white kitchen with butcherblock countertops….there’s SO MUCH to love in this home. Such simple and natural spaces that easily please the eye. Fantastic work Ann-Marie and Oliver – you guys should be really proud of your hard work!

Sophisticated and glamorous but with just a touch of the earthy. It’s a look that is grounded and yet well travelled. It’s part grand tour, part drama and tension, part family estate, part luxury hotel, part Out of Africa and always elegant. South African interior designer John Jacob doesn’t just interpret his client’s needs and he creates a dream home. Sundown drinks on the patio? Maybe after a soak in the tub… glass in hand of course.
Reserved, stiff upper lip, conservative, carry on. Everything British. No try instead refined, elegant, modern with traditional references. London interior designer Helen Green creates spaces with a subtle luxury, establishment with a contemporary take. Careful though. She won’t be boxed in by tradition.
Pleasant surprises come in all forms including comments on blogs that lead to websites and on to gorgeous rooms. I love the casual natural mix part costal, a little french, a little farmhouse, lots of earthy textures and relaxed family style of these spaces by interior designer Lyndsy Woods of L Kae Interiors. So livable and so lovely. And I found her because of a comment. Don’t you love the internet?!
Barcelona based interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán describes himself as a style hunter. His rooms ooze a sensuousness, a timeless luxury. Layers of texture, classic with a twist pieces, prominent art – the interiors are rich and beautiful. It’s a carefully designed bespoke environment that at the same time is vibrant and so appealing. Not content with interior design, Lázaro and his multi-disciplinary team take a client from initial concept through to visual branding and merchandising. Stay tuned for a post devoted to Lázaro Rosa-Violán’s Contemporain studio. Amazing!
