I was able to score a free midcentury ugly upholstery sectional couch off Instagram and had it reupholstered in “death black” python marine vinyl so it would hold up and clean up well with our dogs. I added a few sheepskin in case we needed a blanket or cushion. By the picture you can see all of this was met with approval from our boys. We have an English Mastiff named Steve McQueen and an Australian Kelpie named Hamilton.

1 – Will Pet Under Furniture work too? That is Minette. I swear she does not drink. But she was very tired..
2 – Cat on a Bed … fat cat on a bed.
3 – Not exactly furniture but the scale is used daily at my house. (she overheard my daughter saying she needs to lose some weight.. the cat, not the daughter)
4 – This is Minnette. She is lying on the floor half behind a massive mirror. about 5 feet by 6 feet. She loves to hide behind it and attack anything/anyone who walks by. I admit I always get startled by her lol…
– Candice
I caught Mimin posing on the fireplace mantle yesterday afternoon. It’s not furniture but hey, if anyone can break the rules it’s me. ๐

And a sneak peek from me. If you’re not following me or my cat herd on Instagram then you missed the inauguration of the new catio we built! They all freaking love it, and as I was getting this post ready I stuck my head out to look and found feral Georgie down in the grass exploring for the first time. YAY!! Here is the first time Frankie went out exploring with his brother Bernie. This is the view from the escape route through the kitchen window, and Frankie giving me a side-eye. (I’ll try to get decent photos of it this week)

Today’s post is in memory of Minnie, my sister’s cat who was diagnosed with cancer several months ago and was given about 3 months to live. Well, she long surpassed the 3 months but it isn’t looking good so today she will be leaving us.
We’ll miss you Minnie XOXO
That’s Minnie on the left and her buddy Carl on the right.
Also, please say a little prayer for my sweet Felix. He’s going in for exploratory surgery because after 4 different tests, we still don’t know why he has lost so much weight over the past year. ๐
Sending you a pic of my two lovely pets, Ozzy and Pepe. They are seen relaxing on the couch….the house is theirs….they can do whatever they want but I must say they are really well behaved, very intelligent and loving.
– Eunice (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Do you remember Twizzel? She passed away a year ago. She was posted on your website too.
๐ RIP Twizzel
This is my new fur baby Kiwi.

Zeus came to us last September as a rescue at age 5-6 wks. He had been out fending for himself at such a young age. What a little fighter! He was very sick and in bad shape overall. We nursed him back to health and now he is a healthy, happy boy. He didn’t get the memo about no cats on the counters, and loves to hang out on the dining room table, kitchen island and as you can see, the bathroom countertop too! Sending a before and after. The ‘before’ pic was taken at the vet’s, the day he was rescued by Sandy at AdoptMeRescue here in Ottawa.
– Leanne (Ottawa, ON)
One from me of course. ๐ The favourite cat chair. This Plycraft chair is ALWAYS occupied, and yesterday afternoon it was Lucky who was passed out on it most of the day.
