An early-18th-century château near Paris

Posted on Sun, 31 Jul 2022 by KiM

This early-18th-century château near Paris required almost complete redecoration. More recent alterations were reversed and a new kitchen installed, using traditional tiles from the region and featuring a classic chequerboard floor. A suite of existing furniture was reupholstered, and all new additions to the decoration were chosen to blend in seamlessly. Traditional fabrics in soft, timeless colours – many from 18th-century archive documents – were selected to complement the classic interiors.
A pink château – can you even imagine?! This is everything. Designed by Zurich-based Toby Alleyne-Gee of Phoebus Interiors.

The project may be called “Paddo Pool Terrace” but don’t let the slang fool you. This Paddington home with interiors by Handelsmann & Khaw is an elegant interpretation of Sydney living at its best with an emphasis on light and space, natural materials and the connection between indoors and out. Colour in a Berlin Townhouse

A little antidote to all the beige on beige interiors that are dominating interiors at the moment. Blue and blush, pops of green, red and yellows this fun family home is packed with colour. Yes, there are colourful walls but most is introduced through furniture and soft furnishings, particularly the curtains. All so achievable even in a rental.
