At Rebecca’s

From soaring ceilings and flooding light in a  three level Parisian atelier to a small, cocoon like apartment in the 18th Arrondissement.

“Inspired by the Mediterranean, the theatrical architecture of this apartment is emphasized by natural materials: travertine, tadelakt and concrete. The alcove creates a bubble of softness and the pink waxed concrete floor soothes and sets the tone.”

Liveable glamour in a Florida condo

Posted on Tue, 28 Jan 2020 by KiM

This condo in Saint Petersburg, Florida is all about liveable glamour. Lisa Gilmore took this condo up several notches with a really unique backsplash with Kelly Wearstler tile and large brass handles and hood in the kitchen, the dreamiest magenta media room and some dramatic wallpapers in the bathrooms. Gorgeous!!!

Working on a Saturday

It’s like I say time and time again. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend let’s hope it’s somewhere stylish. Doctor_K by Perspective.

In true Sasha Bikoff fashion, she has taken something ordinary and made it extraordinary. Ok, this “Garden State Revival House” in Newark, New Jersey isn’t exactly ordinary but it’s sooooo traditional on the outside that you would never in a million years expect to see rooms painted pink, yellow, green, red, purple, blue, teal, lime. The insanity!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

According to the bio on New York designer Sasha Bikoff’s website, her aesthetic is 18th century French Rococo mixed with 1960s Space Age Modern, 1970s French Modernism and 1980s Italian Memphis Milano, which she executes with bright and colorful fabrics and rare antiques. Proof of this is her wildly eclectic and vintage filled apartment in Greenwich Village. It’s fun and flirty and I could move right in and have a blast.
