This home is everything that would never come to your mind when you think of a townhouse in New York City. Exposed wood ceilings, extra wide wood floors, painted brick, concrete walls, steel and wood staircase, linen curtains, a stone tub…..this is everything you want in a raw, natural, earthy, wabi-sabi, zen-like retreat. It’s about time I feature the work of London interior designer Robert Kime again; the last time was in 2017. It’s about time is a key phrase here as his spaces transport you to another era and the magic he creates in these centuries-old homes is so inspiring. Restoring an old home and bringing the interior back to its former life would be a dream. Speaking of dreams….that space above. I can’t get enough!
